Has there ever been a player who has got away with more shit than Paul Scholes in the history of the premiership.

I've always thought the same. He's the golden boy of every referee in the EPL. Let's buy him.

A pathetic tackler in my opinion. I think it is the colour of his shirt rather than the colour of his hair that influences referees in fairness.

Grant has made an attack today on Man U and their intimidation of referees .

He mentioned Scholes as having avoided a second yellow in the Wigan game after a terrible tackle...because he IS Scholes .

I think there is something to the charge that Utd use intimidation of referees to get an extra advantage .

Recently they lost to Chelsea . In this match Utd conceded their FIRST penalty of the season ,their sainted defence didn't make ONE foul in their penalty area the entire season 'til then .Does anyone believe that ?

To neutrals the pen was a reasonable hand ball pen against Carrick .
BUT to Utd it was an appalling outrage that necessitated bloodcurdling interview insults directed at the ref .

See , even IF Utd did realise it was a fair pen ,its not their strategy to EVER accept it .Their policy is to put into every ref's mind that any vaguely contentious decision against them will be mercilessly attacked on the field/afterwards . They HAD to attack the ref so other refs can clearly see what would be in store for them if they ever do the same .

Very effective its been too ...(no pens ffs)Grant is dead right to highlight this Utd tactic and I share his relief that no Prem ref is officiating the CL final .

It may be a fair charge, but not one that can be made by the manager of CFC tbh.

the player that gets away with most shit is Wayne Rooney. Look at the way he screamed at Steve Bennett in the league match against Chelsea and only got a yellow card

I'll never forget that game where they beat us 4-0 and Scholes should have been sent off by half-time - he and Rooney have got away with far too much in a red shirt

of course they don't get away with it so much in an england shirt especially rooney

I remember when England and Sweden played a friendly a few years back when he completely buried his studs into the thigh on a Swede 1 minute after the game began. There was big holes with alot of blood.

Maniac

But i hope he does it against Cheatski....mohahaha

Scholes can't tackle, everyone knows that. But oh my God can the lad pass a ball. Chelsea can't whine about getting help from refs. What about that penalty against Liverpool earlier in the season? They didn't complain about that did they?
