Because Juventus are colossal ****s, they can't pay the refs anymore so instead their new approach is to either buy the best player from the team rivaling them (Pjanic from Roma, Higuain from Napoli) or better yet when you see somebody might compete to take their main target as they're doing to Inter with Lukaku, it's shitty but it's working.

If I was Lukaku I'd be looking at how desperate Conte is to have me on his side and question whether I want to be a bit part player at Juventus or the main man at Inter, I know what I'd personally do because it hasn't gone well for him at United and to see a manager so invested in you as a player would bring huge confidence.

The thing is Inter arent offering what Manure want - otherwise Lukaku would have gone already.

I cant help but think Manure are getting a much better deal than Juve are...

Lukaku swapping one bench for another...

He should go to Inter and become the main man, another bad career move from Lukaku who seems to make them constantly.

Everton was his best career move and they aren’t an elite club.

They are absolutely, Inter stupidly let the world know that they no longer wanted Icardi and now can't shift him, they basically need a deal for him asap to get back into the Lukaku race. I'm still holding out for a few more twists there.

He'll play at Juventus, let's not pretend this isn't a good move for Lukaku just because we're not getting Dybala.

I genuinely thought Lukaku to Inter and Icardi to Juve but Icardi is just a total nutjob - well his wife is. I cant imagien who would buy Icardi - maybe a Roma? I dont know.

I know people don't read into it much, but a tonne of money went on Icardi going to Roma last night. Backed it at 25/1 and woke up to it being evens

Well I had heard that Juve fancied Icardi, initially it looked like Juventus were interested in Lukaku to speed the process up but now looks like they've realised they can leave inter with a player they don't want and take who they do want. The best chance Inter have is taking a loss on Icardi and trying to get Lukaku over the line but that is looking less and less likely as the hours go on. I've heard Dzeko/Icardi swap deal also now, which is ridiculous Dzeko must be in his mid 30s by now.

He's a total fucking bellend and his wife/agent is the Darth Sidious behind him.

Indeed, although he is a pretty good footballer. 111 goals in 188 games...

Off-topic though so probably should leave it there.

Just heard from my mate at work (Utd fan) that he wont accept any less than 250k per week from Utd.

My view is that we were offered the player (ITK suggested this) and we looked at making an offer, were told we'd need to up it significantly and decided it was too much.

As cool as it would've been, I'm really not sure how he would've fitted in to our lineup as it would almost certainly have been at the expense of one of Son, Eriksen or Dele.

GLC is younger, cheaper and more versatile and likely who we're focusing on.
The purported difference between a £50m player and an £80m player.

Surely with eriksen, dele and son behind kane and moura and lemela As back up we Don't need Dybala or Le Celso.

We've had ITK that the club know that we overplayed Eriksen last season and want somebody in to carry the load, there's also the added problem of him walking for nothing next season so it may be a case of replace now whilst we can reinvest the funds, so no matter what happens with Eriksen there's good reason to add another.

Yeah the only thing I'll say is that this does all relate to Dybala because there's a merry go round in there which is causing all of these moves but right now unless Inter take a huge risk we're not going to be apart of it.

I don't understand the utd Juventus swap, Juve were letting Dybala go because they had too many forwards and Lukako is a downgrade on Dybala

Is Juve getting Lukaku just to troll Inter? Conte clearly wants him and that's been the link all summer. Juve step in and stop a potential rival from becoming a bigger threat

The thing I like about this however is that when Utd were the bollocks, the majority of their best signings were the lesser known/higher potential ones, supplemented with top quality youth. Ronaldo was just a teenager from Sporting that only Champ Manager players had heard of (I actually think Quaresma was the better prospect in game lol!).

They've actually gone backwards since spending mental sums of money on the likes of Pogba, Mata, Sanchez, Di Maria, Lukaku, Ibra, etc...

That lot down the road have now spent £170m on strikers

He's essentially allowed his wife to ruin his career. If he matures he will look back with regret and realise how she has used him as a pawn for herself. I wouldn't be surprised if she binned him off when he get's older for the next up and coming player.

Anyway, Dybala is another making a stupid career move. Why go play for a coach who has no reputation yet and has shown no evidence of improving players and settle for EL football? I know he's made some comments about Old Trafford in the past but this isn't the Man Utd of the 90s or 00s. Yes, they are still a gigantic club but the landscape is changing and United aren't going to be in a situation where they are expected to roll in the trophies anymore.
