Just heard from my mate at work (Utd fan) that he wont accept any less than 250k per week from Utd.

My view is that we were offered the player (ITK suggested this) and we looked at making an offer, were told we'd need to up it significantly and decided it was too much.

As cool as it would've been, I'm really not sure how he would've fitted in to our lineup as it would almost certainly have been at the expense of one of Son, Eriksen or Dele.

GLC is younger, cheaper and more versatile and likely who we're focusing on.

So your mate from work knows his demands?:ROFLMAO:
Not having a go, feeling in a silly mood, and found that hilarious.

I probably wrote it poorly. I'm assuming it's what he's read via Man Utd forums or wherever else, he's certainly not claiming to be ITK.

100% Dybala comes in for Dele, who’s the weakest link in that 3 and has flattered to deceive for awhile now and needs competition

Seems like it's more or less done. Lukaka and Dybala swap.

Gonna look at the positives... players from Italy don't always settle in England.

While I am disappointed... I always thot it was too good to be true.

I think far too many people are completely overlooking just how injury ridden his last season was and how often his position was switched around, let alone that he still had plenty of good spells. In fact I thought his injury spells had some of the most notable effects on the team in terms of overall performance.

Seen somewhere he wants £350k at Utd, I know £250k was mentioned. We woud never pay that much

Despite their revenue United are playing a risky game. Sanchez still on the books, they'll probably still end up spending over £150m net. Surely it's going to start hurting them if they fail to make CL again.

Yea just reading now. The deal is in doubt as United need to find a way of financing his 10m a year salary. As you say if Dybala is asking for that much then we are completely out of the running.

I'm still a little perplexed as to why we felt the need to plaster our interest everywhere. We normally keep these big-named targets under wraps as we don't want others hijacking them.

Maybe he is not that keen on United, but for the right money will do it. Will probably move somewhere he is more interested in for less.

Maybe DL baulked when he was told the wages Dybala was after

What does Levy expect though when he thinks about putting offers in for these types players that they are going to except the Levy performance bonus salary scheme where there flat salary might be £80k a week! Of course they aren’t going to. It’s pretty obvious they will want
£150- £200k + a week.

Maybe dybala say he want wo much money because he dont want to join United? XD

He would probably ask for a hefty wage wherever he goes since his preferred option seem to be staying with Juventus.

Anyway yeah I also find it hilarious that Dybala actually isn't very keen on joining United. Yanited fans can boost all they want about landing an elite player but they have gone down this route before (Falcao, Di Maria, Sanchez etc), convincing elite players to join purely by offering astronomical wages and it usually doesn't end well.

Can't say I wouldn't do the same if I am him with another company offering me 2-3 times my wages though. But I'm annoyed.

The fans. Some of my mates are irritably proud on so sure of landing him and doing one over us..

I love the attitude of “they’ve had talks - it’s a done deal” for everyone except Spurs, where it’s “they’ve had talks - it can’t have gone well as they haven’t signed yet...”

Ditto that, but finding a company willing to pay fifty-eight quid per annum to employ me is fucking difficult.

At the very least, they're not complete. I feel that its poker without the cards.
