Just make him our top earner. He's 25 and has won 9 trophies, including Serie A 4 times. Get it over the line.
Pay him more than Kane, who is better?Just make him our top earner. He's 25 and has won 9 trophies, including Serie A 4 times. Get it over the line.
Still holding out for this one
Exactly. Not saying we'll get the deal done but he's not outright rejected us yet which has to been seen as a good sign. That "Still no agreement" line from Fabrizio and the fact they are still meeting suggest it's still ongoing. Good enough to hold on at this stage.
In football, Image rights are effectively a tax avoidance vehicle, and are used to allow a proportion of a player's earnings to be taxed at a lower rate. However, after years of abuse within the PL, HMRC has clamped down on their use un the UK and now restricts the value of a players's Image Rights to a maximum of 20% of his total earnings. I guess that the big question is whether Dybala can expect our HMRC to be as generous as the Italian authorities...
Fair point, Kane. I meant to say make him top earner alongside Kane. 300k seems to be enough for him and around what Kane is on after bonuses.Pay him more than Kane, who is better?

I like the way you think.Pay him the same as Kane (£200k plus bonuses), but if this is still not enough then offer him a signing on bonus that is spread over the duration of the contract. That way Levy can say Dybala is within our wage structure and there is parity with Kane.
