Juventus are going to have to contribute to the image rights fee if they want to sell him in this window.
I stand corrected on that front. As you say it doesn't mean anyone actually uses it anyway.
As to the other stuff, there is even an arbitration provision in that standard form. It doesn't imply anything other than the parties have agreed to use it.
Somebody email this to Levy!Returning to the general question of image rights, the leading case in English law is Rihanna vs Arcadia (Top Shop). The Court of Appeal found that there was no general image right under English law
“A celebrity seeking to control the use of his or her image must therefore rely upon some other cause of action such as breach of contract, breach of confidence, infringement of copyright or, as in this case, passing off.”
What it all means is that there does not seem to be the same need for the club to buy Dybala’s image rights as there would be in a country such as Italy where image rights are recognised in law.
I think they've already done that with the fee.
Why oh why would we loan rose
Because he doesn’t want to be here?Cannot see any scenario where that would make sense.
That’s the thing, it can’t be.
Lots of the reports are from Miguel Delaney though, which is a worry. He’s hardly known for his accuracy.

Unless a completely unexpected, first choice superstar left back suddenly became available?Cannot see any scenario where that would make sense.
