I'm not fully clued up on darts but why do Taylors darts go in flat whereas nearly every other players pitch up?

Anyone know?

That's just his style, always has been. It suits him because it allows him to stack one dart on top of the other, when a first dart drops below the treble 20. You'll often see him go for cover on treble 19 when he throws one too high in the 20.

This, I used to think they were weighted differently - ie heavier nearer the flight but its just the way he throws them

Yeah, Taylor can't stay with him now, his scoring power is the best I've seen. He's dodgy on doubles sometimes but if he can sort that there's no reason he can't dominate darts for years to come.

great darts player but don't like him...he's a bit of a yob...reminds me of julian dicks
