There won't ever be another like Taylor, a 53 year old regularly beating the shit out of men half his age.

We've got a real game on here now.

at 4-4 this match is hard to call...van gerwen has the scoring and some explosive finishing...taylor has the experience to keep grinding it out and won't ever give up

great darts player but don't like him...he's a bit of a yob...reminds me of julian dicks

Where as Taylor is the epitome of class...

Seriously though, he looks like a right div but when I see him on SSN yesterday he seemed a nice bloke. Just gets a little excited on the oche. I don't mind Taylor either, although he takes himself far too seriously. It's only bloody darts.

MVG's inconsistency is making this interesting. I think Taylor will take it 7-5.

B-Hop? Actually scrap that...I can't bring myself to compare an absolute specimen of an athlete to Phil Taylor!

Be fair, it has made him a millionaire.

Oh yeah, fair play to him ( Hearn has made him a millionaire ) and I love the darts, but he ain't a "proper" sportsman is he?

He is going to win tonight again too!

Reckon he will retire afterwards?
No point really when, as Haxman says, he is still regularly beating everyone out there.

Win or lose, I can t see Taylor retiring just yet. I'm sure he has said something similar before in the heat of the moment.
