Well, you can compare our position to what it was last year, to how we did in the corresponding features, or to how our ostensible closest rivals are doing at the moment, all are valid I suppose.
Fact is that the way we are placed it's still feasible to finish in or close to the top 4, if we play how we can. Would help to have most of our first choice players, particularly the creative ones as I don't want to see anymore of this long ball stuff.
Losing away to Arse is not really a bad result for any team, it's the way it happened made us look a bit like chumps.
There is no utter sky4 dominance this year, at least not yet and certainly 'pool look very beatable. I'm actually most concerned about ManC. It they succeed to get to the CL this year, it will confirm in the heads of all those mercs out there dying to sign for them that it's because of their desire to "play for a big team" and "win things", rather than base greed. And then it's easy to see ManC cement their place in a new Sky4, with us even further outside...
