Shit like this happens every week I'd say get over it. Do not hold your breath waiting for an apology

I've never seen one linesman influence a game from 1-1 with 11 vs 11 to 3-0 with 10 vs 11 before.

Yes a goal and a sending off here and there, but he's got 2 goals wrong, a penalty wrong and a sending off wrong.

That's pretty shocking!

The linesman was a gooner.

But still we collapsed again...at the back.

Please its time to call it a day for Dawson he is no leader far to laboured.

City should have had a pen to make it two nil. It's embarrassing that you lot are moaning when we hardly touched the ball in the first half.

2) Wrongly gives penalty
Can someone please explain how the rules can allow a penalty to be given when a player gets the ball? Is it something to do with coming from behind? World feed commentator Clive Allen judged it as a penalty and I'm sure others did too. What did BT Sport commentators/studio pundits think?

I think Dawson was offside because Ade got a touch on the cross. The penalty and sending off were wrong but looking for an apology please God.

Does anyone know what match officials at PL level get paid, out of curiosity? Do they get a per match rate rather than a salary?

It's around £15k pa ... but most of them have another full/part time job.

Don't get me wrong man city were easily the better team - they're an amazing side and they were the better team and rightful winners

Its hard enough playing them with a level playing field let alone having to playing against them and the officials - its like having to fight a lion with one hand tied behind your back

I'm actually proud of the lads and the fight they showed to keep going today - it wasn't the capitulation we saw against City before or even against Liverpool

We had a goal wrongly disallowed, a penalty wrongly given with a player incorrectly sent off and they even scored a goal that could well have been ruled out yet still we fought on and never put our heads down and bent over like we did previously this season.

We desperately need a new lb though - Rose played them onside stupidly for the first goal and Naughton just stood and watched as Kompany reacted to the rebound for the fifth. We need a quality player to play left back and currently we don't have one

I was watching with Russian commentary so i have no idea what was or has been said, but it just clearly wasn't a pen, it was a great tackle.

I can only tell you Russian commentators called it a terrible decision if that helps )).

Don't be ridiculous. We were outplayed. Once again capitulating when a decision does not go our way.

You lot wouldn't be out of place on RAWK.

A DECISION? A meaning 1? The guy before pointed out 4, then someone else described a 5th.

You wouldn't be out of place in spec-savers ad!

So what? Norwich pkayef Newcastle yesterday nufc had 29 shots AND hit the woodwork 3 times but norwich got a point. We were in that game at 1-0 had come right back into it towards the end of the first half and should have been 1-1. It dorsnt matter if city's play was better so it should be based on the yeam sheets by your reckoning nobody should bother playing anyone better on paper, we were cheated tonight

What's that got to do with anything? All I said was we capitulated (once again) at the hint of a bad decision.

I thought the first goal was correctly ruled offside, albeit for the wrong reasons.

Adebayor was clearly offside and clearly interfering with play.

But regardless of that, I thought the level of officiating tonight was in general very poor.

Come on Jim. Outplayed yes, but most teams are against this lot. They are a amazing team and should be at 1/2 billion large. However, we were not out of the game. Bad decisions may have cost us. I'm not one to normally moan about them, but for fucks sake, let's have a bit of fairness about it

I dunno, I never agree with commentators usually, think a lot of them are fucking brain dead
But there has to be some rule to do with coming from behind. If even some commentators can clearly see that he got the ball first and still think that it's a penalty, then there is something in the rule book that backs it up.
