Haven't seen the link. Does he still play football? Don't want, in any case!

Edit: he's only 29!? Wow..

Edit 2:

Not that I believe this is happening, but seems not to be just one dodgy twitter source.

Romano hasn't ruled it out, but says he can't see Coutinho in a Conte team, which I agree with.

I'd definitely take him on a loan deal if we didn't have to pay too much of his wages.

Conte would give him a role and get him playing.

From what we've all read, Conte is very specific with his instructions to players; what they need to be doing, where they need to be positioned on the pitch, their runs, their passes, etc.

This would help no end with Coutinho's defensive play and pressing; it might be a case of him not understanding this aspect of the game, rather than lacking effort in this department.

£150k a week of his wages for 25 weeks work is £3.75m.

Since we're battling for Top 4, I'd bring him in for that amount as he bolsters the squad by adding something different.

Surely nothing more than agent fuelled rumours to try and get a move somewhere, anywhere.

Although, that's a third of the battle so to speak :)

Player/agent
Selling club
Buying/loaning club

Not that I'm saying we're interested though

He's the type of player we need so badly. A player of his position is, IMO, our top priority in fact. We created so little that Kane and Son will thrive amazingly from ammunition a playmaker can provide. Not saying I want him, but if he's linked and there's possibility, we shouldn't batter an eyelid.

Utterly bizarre. He is the antithesis to a Conte player. Would be strange af.

Much rather drop Kane in behind Son and Vlahovic if possible.

He can pick a pass, and doesn't mind putting in the yards to track back.
