Good sign we trusted him. Can't remember him getting on the ball much but hope he continues getting chances.
He positioned himself perfectly on the back post to tap that Porro pass in if Matip hadn't put it in for us and the ball had got past him. It would've passed Konate by and Trent was a couple of steps behind. Whether he'd put it in or not is another matter but he was in the right place at the right time.

Didn't do much as he came on only on the 90th min. But he brought us luck and we won the game after he came on. that's already enough.

Great to hear how impressive he has been in training. He is physically perfect for the PL so if his finishing is as good as they claim we could have a real player on our hands

Where did you read that he's been impressing in training?

Didn’t someone take their shift off during the celebrations?

That was Porro though. Some other fan (Arse? Pool?) had complained that Romero should have been booked for taking his shirt off, so I pointed out that it was Porro. Maybe someone else did?

Looked very comfortable fighting for headers and holding up the ball today. Lacked a bit of sharpness on his (offside) chance, but that will hopefully come as he settles in.
