The thing is, that's how Spain play, they play narrow possession football always looking for the clever pass inside rather than go out wide, and any width is provided by the full backs, and their WF's can go either way and pass and create.

It seems Gil is an out and out Winger, i am unsure of his passing abilities from the brief cameos i have seen at this tournament. But he's maybe not suited to play in a possession based side.

Also Olmo was playing he wasn't watching from the stands
