He does look like the French Rodney Trotter
With his tash, would he pass for 14? Maybe 15.

I think we have to wait and see the announcement since it's very possible that report was wrong and we do have oneStill find this extremely strange that we don’t have an option. Maybe it can be negotiated in after?
Yeah I was often wondering why they just can't recreational play football in some nice town, let's say Enfield, while waiting for visa/work permit. If some football team happens to train in the same place, well shit happens. I guess all would be fine until something happens like he break his leg or whatever. No insurance then probably etc. But maybe someone knows what are the reasons? Can't he fly over to Korea and just join in the training sessions and games pretending he's a fan who's won a competition?
Surely he doesn't need an English visa to travel to South KoreaWell Conte did 'observe' training when he first arrived
He needs a South Korean visaSurely he doesn't need an English visa to travel to South Korea
I guess it's more to do with whether he can work for Spurs if his move isn't official. No idea how it works though. I mean I imagine he can't play until the visa makes it official. Whether he can train I don't know. I don't think the travel is the issue, its his involvement with the squad. Although maybe works different too since he'll still be a Barca player regardless of the Visa and I'm not sure what the regulations are for a pre season. Can we use a player who isn't official for example?Surely he doesn't need an English visa to travel to South Korea
The option to buy might be an issue with wages being owed.
You see it written about De Jong having deferred wages being owed. It’s likely the case across the squad.
Lenglet has a large salary €230k a week I’ve read. He’s not going to want to give that up knowing that’s the top end of what a CB can earn
The rumors yesterday said that there wasn’t one yet. That latest Mundo article says there is one for €10m. I think it’s safe to say it’s unknown at this point until confirmed but my guess is it’ll get sorted.Still find this extremely strange that we don’t have an option. Maybe it can be negotiated in after?
Wonder if the deferred wages issue is why there may not be an option/obligation?
He might be saying "I'm not signing for another club while you pricks still owe me X million?!" or words to that effect.

He’s on €70K PW currently. The option to buy might be an issue with wages being owed.

This might be the issue since Lenglet, Pique, ter Stegen and de Jong all renegotiated their contracts. It was structured so Barca still pay their wages but they get paid more as the contract runs down. So I guess it complicates things a bit because of what Lenglet is still going to be owed for the remainder of his contract.Yeah, I saw this today, de Jong is owed something approaching €17m in deferred wages, and until it’s resolved won’t accept a move.
I would imagine he would need a visa/work permit regardless before he can commence employment officially by the club, including trainingI guess it's more to do with whether he can work for Spurs if his move isn't official. I think we'll probably just have to ask Clement himself.what now, is there an option or not?
Oui oui Legolas or legoarseI think we'll probably just have to ask Clement himself.
I wonder if he speaks? We'll have to ask him that too ...
Parlez vous Lenglet?
