He very clearly hated Conte, or at least his style of play, and I don't really blame him.Don't want to accuse his character of anything that he doesn't deserve, but something about him this season just seems like he cares a bit more. Can't put my finger on it but it stands out. Love to see it anyway
The way that Palace didn't try to press Romero and Vicario in the 2nd half when being one and two goals down is one of the strangest things I've seen on a football pitch lately.

Exactly right. What opposition would press Romero knowing it's the key to us slicing them open?It was clearly tactical. One of our main modes of creating is playing straight down the middle through the press after sucking the team out. The DM and the 2 fullbacks pinch way inside to create a numerical mismatch in the center of the park, so if they press the middle opens up. Hodgson's entire game plan was to not open up. 4-4-1-1 with Hughes straight on Biss. 0 pressure on the ball until it hits that middle zone of the pitch. They they'd close us down tightly and try to turn it over for a easy counter. It worked for most the match to his credit. The players clearly got reamed out by Hodgson last week after getting mauled by Newcastle and they were trying to play out the game plan today. So the players looked nervy because they were getting booed by the fans for not pressing, but their manager clearly didn't want them to step up and open up that space. Ange even said it after the game, Palace just aren't equiped to change their structure and formation once they went down, so they just kept to plan A the whole game.
Conte was such a wrong appointment in so many ways, the rug wearing twatHe very clearly hated Conte, or at least his style of play, and I don't really blame him.
Considering the football Atalanta were playing I'm not surprised. Do any Argentine players like playing that brand of football? I don't think we had a manager when we signed him yet did we? I'm sure he would have expected exciting football with the players we had though. He very clearly hated Conte, or at least his style of play, and I don't really blame him.

It's the only logical way of ensuring Osimhen never again faces him as an opponent.hey Victor how about coming to Spurs and play with Cuti?
Make them all vice captainsIt is interesting how all three captains have been nominated with two winning the POTM already. Ange really knows his stuff.
