I'd think the Red half of Manchester would be the best guess.

Not to the public that I’ve seen but I’ll take you on face value.

Rose isn’t someone to have a meltdown over anyway

Some reasons why I'd be pissed off if we sold Rose:-

1) There still is a good player in there.
2) Apparently part of the difficulty this window is squad and homegrown status management so selling a player that can only be replaced by a club graduate in terms of CL squad numbers makes no sense.
3) We need two of each full back and Poch is doing KWP a dis-service by continuously playing him at LB.
4) We are struggling to get anyone in this window, the last thing we need is to hunt down another player.
5) It's likely we're selling him to Manchester, which sucks balls.

Yeah one of the two imo if it transpires. United in greater need though so edging towards them.

Although my United mate said there's no mention of Rose rumours on any United forums he uses.

Yeah, the guy has a dreadful injury record. He aint going Chelsea who have 2 lb's already. United is a possibility and PSG also are but I have a little feeling it'll be city.

PSG have apparently been in the market for a LB all summer. If I had to guess I'll say he's off to PSG.

I think people are upset about this possible news in particular for a number of reasons...

1) selling a HG player before buying - various times it was mentioned that funds are available and buying is not dependent on selling. We did see ITK that they had to sell foreign players first before buying due to homegrown numbers, so selling Rose flies right in the face of this.

2) no backup at LB and no links to anyone that would replace Rose

3) 10 days to go and still no purchases of any kind and not many strong links.

4) I think most people would agree that Rose on his best day is better than Davies.

5) If we had problems buying due to HG numbers, why make that problem even worse?

Would you accept £100m cash right now from United for Toby and Danny. I would.

Toby 29, 30 in March, had a couple of bad hamstring injuries.
Danny just turned 28, is now unreliable and gets the odd injury.

Only so long as we invest it in quality replacements.

Would like to see De Ligt for Toby and Guerrerio for Danny. Yes, optimistic I know.

He was never going to stay long term at the club after his interview in the Sun last year. It’s only his injury problems which stopped him leaving by now.

I mean we might as well. Don't know who else we would go for. We can survive with Ben Davies, Rose just added that extra something like Walker did that we take for granted.
