Wouldn’t have put Rose at PSG. Always seemed a laid back guy who is family orientated and likes to keep low. Wouldn’t have thought moving to a club all about money full of egos, in another country, would suit him

I'm sure there was news in the past that Tuchel likes Rose.

Don’t think we’ll see Rose at Leeds, if they got promotion I could see it but not now. Doubt they could afford the fee we want for him.

Would need betis to play ball on that though. It would be hard to pull that all together.
PSG would be more of a problem I imagine, think it's 20%. If Betis want £70m then there's a £14m middle ground that has to be found with them - think a compromise could be made though, especially if we say we won't pay more than £55m and you can have Danny for £15-£18m, £7-10m less than we value him at.

Fag packet maths but something along those lines could appease all parties

So Danny Rose is good enough for PSG but not for us? Assuming he doesnt want to go - what do we know eh.

Great move for him like Tripps was

The key line for me in that Sky article is 'The England defender wants to fight for a first team place next season'. If that's the case, why on earth are we even considering selling him? This whole thing is crazy nonsense.

I call bullshit...if that was the case he’d be on tour. I’m sure there is no hard feelings between Poch and Rose so I’m sure he’d be welcome on tour...whereas we want rid of Toby yet still take him. I think Rose has been left behind at his own request and we have agreed.

Jim White the cock

Sky Sports News presenter Jim White has revealed a text message conversation he had with Nigel Rose on Thursday.

He claims Rose senior would love to see his son move back to Elland Road.

“What I can tell you, and it’s quite amusing, I know Nigel Rose, Danny’s dad quite well,” White said.

"Tongue-in-cheek he got in touch with me today and said: ‘Jim I’d love for him to go back to Leeds United, the home of the beautiful game’.

“I’m not too sure that’s going to happen Nigel but you tickled me with that this morning.”

Indeed...what a cock! Fucking hate him and his yellow fucking deadline day tie giving the high fives as he’s coming into the studio like he’s doing a WWE ring walk...I’m normally quite mild mannered but...Jim ‘cockhead’ White

I suppose the thinking behind it is we have Davies, an established PL left back and we're hopeful of bringing in someone who will be our left back for the next decade or so in Sessegnon. At the same time this is, realistically, the last window where we can attract a good transfer fee for Danny.

There is logic.

I just can't agree with it. I like Rose. He's been brilliant this season, back to his best, something I doubted we'd see again after the injuries and his personal issues. I still think he's dealing with those issues. You can see he's had some kind of therapy session where someone has said "don't keep things bottled up" and he's being oh so literal with that advice. I've no problem with him being outspoken, but he is unpredictable and I suppose the management maybe think he might disrupt the team morale at some stage with an ill-thought comment.

It's a tough one. But I'd prefer him to stay.

I know he has two years left on his contract, but I've not heard that if offered a new one he won't sign it.. Are we not interested in offering a new one?

Think it's just a case that long term if we can basically swap rose for sess it is better for the club.
