I disagree. He says he's one of the best in the league, hard to disagree with that. He wasn't saying he should have started, he said he was disappointed not to be in the squad.

Seeing every quote we get in the darkest light possible, isn't good for our mental health ;)

And Trix says he was in the squad and kicked off at being on the bench - and around we go

And he’s not one of the best in the league currently. He’s not fit so a long way off. You don’t just get anointed ‘Best in League’ and it stays forever

There are players that have never really recovered from a year out, particularly who rely on pace. Who knows. If it was me I’d prove it rather then keep shouting about it.

I am sure if Rose did behave like that then Poch would not have started him in the next game away at Dortmund in the CL (unless Davies was injured).

Also, Rose seems to quite pointedly say (in recent interviews) I am committed to trying to win something with Tottenham this season.

Yeah. So he’s likely gone in the summer and Poch is probably aware, as he was Walker.

I never said he kicked off I said he sulked.

What just by looking at him? I assume none of you budding Sigmund Freud's have actually spoken to him?
Over the time he's been at the club - observing his demeanour, energy, general behaviour - it's not a stretch to assume some level of significant dissonance with life; for whatever reason.

Doesn't take Siggy Freud to deduce Lamela is an extremely sensitive individual, for example.

And don't try and throw shade at me, Trix. Behave.

Wow, he seems totally unstable.

Mentally, it’s as if all the work Poch has done to improve him has started to unravel and he’s losing the plot. All these outbursts to the press and assertions about how good he is, it feels like it’s him trying to convince himself in a way.

As a player who relies a lot on pace, the guy has 3 years max left before he starts to decline but this is in no way the same as Walker. Actually, if I was the manager of another club I’d be really worried about the state of what i’d be buying, for the sort of fee we’d be asking.

The more I see of Ryan Sessegnon, the more I want to bin this guy off.

I've worked enough around mental health to spot it from a mile off, and I'm not suggesting he's M/H because of the crap hes been talking.

If Danny has mental health issues then why doesn't he get some help rather then doing a tour of the red tops every few days?

IMO there's no excuse for continually spouting his shit to the tabloids, if he's got issues than fare enough, you've got a great support network of the club to help you through it, but all he's doing is using the media to air his own little pro footballer problems.

Sorry Daniel I don't give a shit if you were angry about not playing and I don't give a shit if you want us to sign better players and I don't give a shit if you want more money. So stop constantly telling me

He's a self-centred prick that's all

I'm pleased about the support he gets. I think so much of this stems back to the fact that he got a pretty hard time from some fans early in his Spurs career, and not surprisingly he developed a bit of a chip about it.

Supporting him is the best way of getting him onside. He's a good player and we should be doing what we can to keep him.

Ultimately he'll go, but he can at least be useful in the meantime.

RS though should be one of our priority targets. Alongside an AM

I hear you. I'm just suprised. I don't think of Danny badly or maliciously, simply realistically. It's clear he doesn't want to stay, I equate it to a wife that says she wants to leave. My personality says "ok babe jog on love" I wouldn't try to sweet her. If I'd done something wrong, different story. I understand many others would beg her to stay. I'm just suprised at the level of support. Especially those who think less of Davies in their comment. Makes my head itch. But yes a good objective veiw from you. Kudos :)

Fulham now currently value long-term Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Ryan Sessegnon at £50 million.

if fulham values sessegnon for 50m , then what is rose's value ?

It's not about what's best for our rivals it's about what is best for us. "Puuuurly hypothetically" we could bring in two very good players for the money we could get for a player that has no long term interest in being here, and who keeps upsetting the status quo. :)

Watching poch’s press conference talking about Danny rose and you can see he’s fed up talking about him. He never looked as exasperated talking about Walker and we now know the background of that. Rose must be worse to handle. He’s always come across as having a massive chip on his shoulder. That’s hard to get rid of.

To further your analogy though, even if your wife says she wants to leave, you might want to tell her she looks pretty occasionally when she's drunk as you might get a shag out of it

Great success (in the voice of Borat, obvs)

Yeah I don’t think he had mental health issues. I think he believes the hype, thinks he is one of the best LBs in the world injury aside and is vastly underpaid and wants someone to show him the money to validate that. I think he has a massive inferiority complex - it’s why he still has some resentment about the treatment from the fans and need a big pay packet / move to validate himself. Less comfortable in his own skin than some of the other guys as maybe the recognition he is top level has come much later in his career. Increasingly when Poch speaks it seems clear he is gone but let’s not dress it up talent wise it will be a loss
