Unreal that this guy is still at the club. 6 years since he came and for the last 4 years serving as backup, as we found out he's not good enough.
No other club would allow this to happen. But we are governed by Levy's cursed spreadsheets - football be damned...

Chelsea had Bakayoko on their books until this summer, when he left for free. He was there for 6 years and played only 29 league games. Baba Rahman left for free too who'd been there since 2015 and played half that.

Man United still have Maguire who played barely at all last season and won't play this, and Eric Bailly who's been there for 7 years now.

It's not just a Spurs problem, it's a Premier League wages problem.

I agree, don’t think I made my point well, booing has nothing to do with it. Point is the fan base has zero confidence in him, and the whole atmosphere across the team and fans changes significantly when he’s on the pitch.

Fine by me.

Our squad remains incredibly bloated, especially when you consider the loanees.

Sanchez is one of those players who needs to move on, so if there’s an opportunity to do that now, we should take it.

Sure it leaves us slightly short at CB, but between VDV, Romero, Phillips, Davies and Royal… I think we can weather it til January, playing one game a week.

Playing Davies and Royal there isn’t optimal, but then frankly neither is playing Sanchez there.

It's a risk if true. Yes, there's only 16 matches mostly at one week intervals until the next TW opens, but unles we're going to act decisively (lol) then its going to be more like 22 until we replace him. I guess Dier gets registered, but honestly I'd feel better with Dav on the bench.
