It's actually a tweet from Taylor Twellman, a noted US and MLS reporter/analyst.

He's quite plugged in on the US/MLS side, having broken a number of stories/deals. He's not one for winding folks up. I 100% believe him. That said, the deal isn't closed.

Also, just to manage expectations, Yedlin has a loooooong way to go as a fullback. He's really more of a winger at this stage of his development.

Actually, he is certainly a potential starter for a Champions League club. Same with Julian Green. For now, they'd be for marketing, but they'd make a few PL appearances, Yedlin probably more than Green.
