Yeah not a huge fan tbh. Don't think he's suited to the Prem at all. Hope we're just going for a loan with an option to buy.
What makes you think that he's not suited to the Prem, if you don't mind me asking?

He’s a fine player and definitely more suited to an inside forward role than an out and out winger role. Playmaking winger who can strike the ball at a top level with his left. Can pick any type of final third pass. It’s just that he has neither the athletic burst nor the quick feet in tight spaces, one of which I think is needed to be an absolutely top player in his position. But again elite ball striking, and someone who specializes on the right who is left footed which is something we lack. Also shows up in the biggest matches it seems; coppa winner vs Atalanta. Just worried about his consistent ability as a transition player, as much of Contes attacking is done through the quick breaks. Parma breakout wasn’t that long ago, and he does have quality though and still very young and talented.

I've never seen him play but it sounds a lot like you're describing Sigurdsson there. I like Gylfi but let's hope he's a bit better than that.

I'm not hating on him or anything tbh never seen him play, I doubt a lot of people here haven't either so lets just back the signing if it does happen. Must have something to him

Is he basically another Kim Kallstrom?
I’d be lying if I said I knew who you’re talking about, I’m a pretty recent footy fan so my apologies. If I had to make a modern comparison with a more familiar player, I’d say a more assertive Yarmolenko, or a left footed Lucas Ocampos. If I’m being really (and I mean really) generous, the areas he picks up and his movement is similar to Bernardo Silva, while still understanding they’re opposites physically. He can also play up top too. In a 2 with Isak for Sweden on many occasions.

Was the hottest prospect in Italy, then joined Juve under Pirlo who didn't have a clue & now Allegri who plays incredibly defensively.

A team with hardly a midfield, a striker who doesn't really score, Dybala who kind of operates in the same space & then bought Chiesa who plays in his same spot.

Could work out really well, or he could have just been a flash in the pan... We shall see.

He would compliment Son and Kane so well. He was incredible at Parma, 10 goals and 9 assists in his last season at 19 years old!

Fantastic work rate, great dribbler and creative enough to play the 10 in a 3-5-2 or off the wing in a 3-4-3. Great signing if we can get him!
Yeah, I'm quite positive about this. A wide playmaker should be useful in matches against teams that sit back.

Tbh I’m pleasantly surprised we have an alternative lined up so soon considering the deal for Diaz collapsed about 12 hours ago

Plus im sure Juve are more open now they've spunked all that cash on their new striker, im sure juve would be more open and willing with some of their players like Dejan.

He’s a tidy player who con contribute now and has a big ceiling. If we’d never been linked to Diaz people would be happy I think. It’s just cause we had one of the best wingers in Europe dangled in front of us that the next one on the list would feel underwhelming.

Don’t look at me. I’m irrelevant.

Can he operate as a backup for Kane too? Seems to have the height and build.

Im from Sweden and follow spurs and the Swedish nationalteam frequently.

Im telling you right now, he is gonna be another flop for us.

Really, really sad news if this has legs.

I think he looks good, like a dribbly attacking mid/winger with some creativity.

Seems like a very good foil for our other players who are faster (bergwijn, son, moura)

feels like something we need, obviously not as explosive as diaz but I think he looks good

After watching at least 16 minutes of YouTube highlights, I must say he is at least 6/10, maybe even 6.5/10. He can pass (sometimes), can run (a bit) and tries to shoot (once in a while). He will fit straight in.

In one sense it's a relief to see there was indeed a backup in place for Diaz. On the other hand, why? This clearly isn't the biggest problem area in the squad, we were told that Diaz was a one-off opportunity to get a top quality player, clearly not the area of greatest deficiency in the squad.

Think about what Moura does when he plays on the right of a front three, cuts inside and allows the RWB to give the width.

Now imagine if Moura was left footed.....

I'm all for this.

(And yes I know Moura and Kulusevski are two completely different players but you get what I'm saying (y))
