I remember watching some social media promo with Lo celso and they were doing keep ups and I really couldn’t believe how one footed he was. I honestly never viewed him the same after that.

People will always reference Robben or even Messi. But for me if you’re playing in a front 3 in a CL team you’ve got to at least have the confidence to have a go on your weaker. If a player has a 5 yard head start clean through on goal he should never ever be checking back. With the amount of analysis these days it makes it a lot easier to nullify him. I’m not expecting Son levels but he needs to work on it.

It's not even like it's something that can't be majorly improved if you put the time in. I'm sure Sonny had a favoured foot at one time, and I'm equally sure that he worked his nuts off until you couldn't tell the difference.

I’m a lefty too. The issue is those who are right foot dominant have some level of ability with their left foot too. Whereas a number of the left footed players are completely one sided and are extremely poor and/or point blank refuse to use their weaker foot.
I think thats down to there being far more right footers than left so more of them will be 2 footed.
There are plenty of right footers who refuse to use there left foot. They wont shoot from 3 yards out and would rather turn round and go backwards than attempt a pass with their left foot.
Its the biggest failing in modern football imo and quiet an easy thing to resolve.
I can kick with both feet. Just practiced kicking a ball against a wall for hours on end when I was young.

He's an international who links up well with messi.
He is an established european player.
He earns more in a week than many earn in 10 years.

The reality is that he's done pretty well for himself, concentrating on just one foot.
And that is football today - the rewards are massive for doing one thing really well. Football has been industrialised, pumping out narrow specialists. Henry Ford would be proud.

Untotal football.

If I had a kid - I am training him from a baby to use his left foot and be two footed. Ill make millions out of him. and even a left footed centre back... hope Conte is still a manager then.

If I had a kid, I'll move to Korea and send the kid to Heung-Min Son's academy.

Irrelevant of which foot he is stronger with, it is very noticeable when he is not on the pitch. Been the perfect 3rd man in that front 3 so far and long may it continue!

On a serious note imo it’s more of an issue with striker/attacker. As we saw on Saturday he missed out on 2 very good chances by cutting back. Listen apart from that he’s been great. And I actually believe it’s more a confidence thing than actual ability related.

Try it. Trust me, it’s not straight forward. They naturally focus on one. Spent today with my kid on his wrong foot. It’s already miles behind

It’s fair to criticise the fact he didn’t use his ring in 2-3 key moments…. I think if those 3 opportunities fell to son they’re 3 goals. It’s only pre season and he had a bit of an injury so it’s not a problem just can’t be doing that In the prem.
it felt like he was overthinking things and trying to overplay things.

He's got a lot of natural ability, but I never want to see him "using his ring" on the pitch
