Just been on the Juve forum, and the majority there want him gone, on the proviso anther winger is signed.
If he is signed, let's hope he can prove them wrong
Well the Italian forums, think the idea of a swap deal is a bit of a joke.

Most would sell him. But for obvious reasons, Juventus' financial situation ain't good. The player isn't starting but the team needs reinforcements. And he has not lived up to the hype. Essentially for them the question is about potential, if he fulfils his potential he is a top player, if he doesn't then he won't be. A lot of comparisons with Henry, a player who showed talent but was unable to make it at Juve only to explode elsewhere.

He is 21 though, and he is supremely talented. It would be a great signing, particularly if its a swap with someone not playing often. Genuinely, I have to say it again, a really really talented player, with the technical and physical attributes to become a top top player. We would be swaping a midfielder we don't use, with a player who could explode and even if he doesn't is good enough to offer something in rotation.

He's definitely much further in his development than Bryan Gil and would, unlike Gil, be immediately pushing for a start. People are seriously underrating him, or not really understanding just how highly he is rated as a talent. My only issue with it would be purely that he likely won't cover the wingback role (unlike Traore for example) and would very much suggest we are married to the 3-4-3

I guess everybody on forums such as these does this but discarding a player you’ve not actually seen play based on… a feeling (?) is a very strange thing.

Kulusevski is a very good footballer. Technical and robust. He doesn’t move like David Silva with the ball but he can actually make passes. Put in a functioning system under a manager who wants him he will, I’d wager, come good.

But every player is a risk of course. I could be wrong.

Bit torn on this one.

Has a great left foot and the right physicality for the league but is generally quite unpopular among Juve fans and does look a bit cumbersome for a wide player.

He's not played in a particularly strong Juventus team and Conte is a master at squeezing every drop of talent out of players, so if he feels he can get the best out of him then I'm for it.

I do also like the idea of a Lamela/Gil style trade to get rid of a player that Conte doesn't fancy. Will be very difficult to find buyers for certain players if we aren't creative like this in the market.

He’s cracking on football manager and Paratici clearly loves him, that’s all I need.

Also, can we stop using a player’s current team’s forum as a measure of how good someone is? I wouldn’t trust the opinion of most of you morons so surely every other forum is as bad

If we are sticking with 343 (hope not) then someone like him in the 2 behind Kane is going to be more creative than Son and Lucas

With Ndombele clearly having been sidelined we need at least one more technician in the squad. I'd take him.

This is exactly it
Well done to those who did the due diligence of reading a foreign language forum (muchas Gracias), but honestly, the amount of shitposting on this forum alone should be a measuring stick for how little attention should be paid to fans opinions.
Imagine getting views on kulusevski in a match thread!

I don't know, I'd rather trust the opinions of people who watch him week in, week out, in a player thread than the youtube watches/fm players on here.
Saying that he's young, and he has an interesting skill set, so a new challenge in a new team, with a new formation could make him decent. It could go either way.

Anybody know why Juve fans seem to hate a 21 year old so much?

I know from experience how unreasonable fan forums can be but the fact that their fans see nothing in him does worry me tbh. Last thing we need is another marmite player.

They paid finished article money for him when he’s not the finished article would be my guess. Juve fan opinion on him isn’t universal. Many of the posts on the Juve forum I looked at the other day seemed quite annoyed at the prospect of selling him without giving him the chance to realise his potential.

He’s 21, so if he comes in people will have to be patient, just like their being with Emerson ?

It's the age old dilemma. If we fail to sign when we had the chance and he flourishes elsewhere we'll be declaring we missed our chance, if we sign and he bombs, guess we'll moan then too.

Ultimately we'll just have to trust those in the know to get the targets right.

Swap with GLC makes perfect sense to everyone involved….although not sure Juve has seen the GLC highlights (it’s only a 15 second video with replays)
