Seems Milan were linked to him earlier in the window and their fans were pretty positive about it.

I know it's not as sexy as a Diaz or Raphinha but it could be a really handy signing for us.

Also it's firmly in the Paratici contact base so he might even get this one over the line!

FP did sign him for Juve, so he would have all the insights regarding the player, agents and of course the club, so technically we should be in good stead

For those saying he’s ‘slow’ by the way, you’ve clearly never watched him. He’s a tall lad so doesn’t get off the mark quick, but with the ball at his feet he absolutely can drive past full backs. In the centre of the park he’s even quicker.

Put it this way, he’s definitely quicker than Eriksen and he did alright for us in a creative role if I remember rightly.

If he's a hard worker and has an engine i'm all for it.

We need more of those players

He goes missing from games, more than Lucas.

Im afraid he is way too slow in both head and legs for the fast paced premier league.

Just an underwhelming signing for a top6 club in any top European League tbh.

Wish him all the best ofc if we go ahead and sign him. But i can bet money on the fact he will be a flop for us.

Really hope this dont have legs.

Fair enough, like you say the lack of a physical x-factor (pace) would be my biggest concern.

Overall out of all the underwhelming 'black book' deals Paratici could pull out at this point this seems like a promising one to me. Sounds a good fit and Conte if he can adapt to the pace of the league.

I just wonder if the failed bid for Diaz has made people look at this in a more negative light.

Comparisons with Eriksen in 19/20 and 20/21 seasons (it wouldn't let me do different seasons for each)

The amount of people who don't actually follow international football, but are ready to embrace any new shiny toy.
Italy is a much less demanding league than the PL, and Kulu is not good enough for the scudetto. At least not for a upper echelon team.
How is he going to make it in England, and why are we after a winger when we already have enough of those, and so many other holes to fill?
By all means get him on a loan, but mind more pressing business first.

MAJOR red flag being called out over his lack of pace in Serie A, he will get eaten alive in the Premier League if we're relying on him to play as a winger.

Juve fans do not seem to rate him one bit - https://www.juventuz.com/threads/dejan-kulusevski.44222/page-145

From the same thread though:

"Kulu ranks in the 90th percentile in xA among all wingers/attacking mids. 72nd percentile in xpG+xpA. 74th percentile in shot creation. He also surprisingly grades out well defensively, 97th percentile in pressures, and 77th percentile in tackles. His dribbling and finishing are below average but he still finds ways to get involved in goals. He has 19 g+a in a season and a half of being a part time player."

I think this kid is the real deal. Been watching him for ages and the talent is clearly there.

Also re: "why would we sign him when we have Bergwijn/Lucas" posts.... I think it's clear Conte sees Bergwijn as a striker.

I would imagine a 3-5-2/4-4-2 hybrid with Son and Kulusevski out wide and Kane and Bergwijn in a striker partnership would be the end goal here if this signing goes through. With Lucas providing depth for both wings and Bergwijn. Just my thougts.
Do you think?

I watch quite a lot of Serie A and watched the Juve AON documentary and he seems ok but nothing super special.

His numbers are hit and miss. 9 goals and 10 assists in 75 games for Juve isn't mouthwatering stuff but he is only 21 and has had quite a few games off the bench so some context is needed.

He's a big guy, strong, good feet and get get away from a player but he's not blisteringly quick so pros and cons. He can play RW or CAM mabye LW also as if fairly two footed, has scored some headers, is more a give and go type winger than a crosser, has composure and can finish, he'd add something we don't have and room to improve but don't think he's as electric or exciting as Diaz or say a Raphinia.

He was featured pretty heavily on All or Nothing as one of Juve’s new generation of talent that Paritici brought in that window…along with Chiesa and McKennie. Out of all the signings, he seemed to be the one who was taking longest to adjust.

Came across as a real quiet, passive kid. Personality reminded me a bit of Eriksen, who you could sometimes confuse their calm personality as not caring.

As a Swede I've been following him quite closely and he is a really good player.

With us missing out on Diaz, I feel this is a bit underwhelming but at the same time I'm positive he fits the squad and our needs better.

He's an incredibly hardworking player, and has some Lamela in him in that sense. Still young, and can booth shoot and pass. High IQ, and with a good ball carrying ability.

I really like him playing in a forward duo for Sweden and could see him doing well as a back up to Kane if we're going 3-5-2, but I think he fits the inside 10 role very well with us too.

I'd rather we did splash some cash on Rapinha but this is not in any way a bad deal. Conte wanted him at Inter too.
Completely agree with this description of him. If you have watched him play and follow the Prem you would see that he would fit in so well. He has all the attributes to be a success IMO: hardworking like you said, but also strong and reasonably quick with an end product.

I understand the underwhelming reactions but in this case I feel like if you know, you know. Hopefully he we will be a success if he joins.
