We’ll take the option as his current market value is likely more than that anyways. Worst thing is you sell him for the same fee you paid a year from now.
Now who wasn't underwhelming this season? He needs to step up more next season. Been extremely underwhelming since returning from injury.
Are we potentially wasting £35m on a one paced player who cannot beat his man, score or assist or is it just a blip?
I've read this kind of post a number of times as if this season doesn't tell us much about the quality of our players, rather than the alternative, which is the quality of our players explains this season. I just don't understand why the players are getting a pass. I don't even mean in terms of their attitude and questioning their committmnet, but simply in terms of their quality. Now who wasn't underwhelming this season?
We have quite a couple more one show pony, besides a few slow players that kill our counters!I've read this kind of post a number of times as if this season doesn't tell us much about the quality of our players, rather than the alternative, which is the quality of our players explains this season. Deki is slow. There are no two ways around this. For an attacking player in the Prem, he's especially slow. That's not going to change. In his first season he was effective, but now, every single manager and defender in the league know his only threats are cutting inside to try and curl one in the top corner, or try and create and angle for a cross or cut back from the byeline. They don't need to get tight to him and if they can isolate him, his lack of pace means he's screwed. I really like him and wanted us to sign him, but I don't see why so many of our fans are in denial about how easy it is to defend against him once you know his game.
Kane. You got me.Now who wasn't underwhelming this season?
He did say last season that he wants to play for his dream club and only his close friends know who that is; ca’t imagine Real, Barcelona or Bayern being that interestedHe hasn’t played like a player desperate to sign long term at the club . His words after the game don’t fill me with confidence that he wants to sign . I think this is what Mason is talking about , he wants players that want to wear the shirt , fight for the shirt and kulu has been a by stander for the best part of 6 months .

Every player has his downside moments, look what has happened to DiMariaKane. You got me.
Did Kulu not fall a bit out of favour at Juve as well for form?
