Have a look at what Kane said on Sunday and compare the two, then ask yourself who sounds the more committed to the cause, based on their direct quotes (which cant be spun by anyone).
Context.
Without full transcripts of the interview/questions, its a bit daft to form ANY conclusion IMO.

Two people with completely different personalities answer god knows what in different ways shocker.

Try reading the full quotes without the spin:

'We all want to achieve stuff,' he told Sky Sports. 'It's a good place to be, and with the manager we've got here I can't see many better places for me personally to improve.

'It's a fantastic club to be a part of. We're all looking to learn together and build together and be as successful as we can.

'You never say what's going to happen in the future, no-one knows, no-one can predict it.

'For me, it's important that I enjoy the journey - whether I stay at Tottenham for the rest of my career or one day I have to leave and it's the right thing for me to do.'

So where is the actual interview with these words??
It wasn't in the post match interview...

@thebenjamin has posted the text, but we don't know for certain the actual words without the video/audio.
Besides which, the SS article does also state, as an opening line:
"Dele Alli says he would be prepared to leave Tottenham for the sake of his career but "can't see many better places".

Now to me, "for the sake of his career" would be if his England place were in doubt, or if there was zero chance of him playing CL football regularly for us.
In other words... Nothing to see here, move along...

It was with Jamie Redknapp in the pre match build up on Sky. Redknapp asked him whether he one day fancied playing abroad or could he see himself playing his whole career at Spurs. And what I posted above was Dele's response. It was a leading question but one that Redknapp had to ask otherwise he wasn't doing his job -- and I thought it was asked pretty fairly, as he suggested staying with us 'for 15 years' as an option.

You have to remember these players are media trained to respond to any question about transfers or stuff like that with 'you never know what can happen in the future'. What Dele says is completely fine.

The part that bothers me is at the end of the article on sky.

Asked if he would definitely be at Spurs next season he said: "Like I said, you never know, but it's a fantastic club to be a part of."

I don't think what he says in interviews matters all that much really. To keep him we'll have to pay him a lot and compete at the top of the PL. End of story. If we don't, it'll be Bale, Modric, Berbatov again. Even if we are competing, if Madrid or Barca come calling he'll probably want to move. Ronaldo left United after PL win and CL final.

True, ultimately it's out of our hands at the end of the day, if a player wants a move they normally, 9 times out of 10 get it.

Not the best thing for him to say but he may just be saying what his agent's told him to to get a big new contract. Part of the modern game unfortunately.

I'd only worry if he's refusing to play or saying publicly that he wants to leave.

He's said he wants to be here. He's just not able say that he won't want to try his luck elsewhere at some point. Which is fair enough. It's unrealistic to expect to have 11 Harry Kanes who grew up dreaming of playing for Spurs. We're damn lucky to have one.

Pisses me off tbh. Why the equivocation? Would a Barca, Madrid or Bayern player say something like this?

I get that we aren't those clubs, but it grates that this type attitude still persists despite all the progress we continue to make.

I would have to say, out of the entire side Alli has always been my biggest worry in terms of a bigger team coming in and poaching him.

His numbers are far too impressive to be ignored by super rich clubs, it's not a matter of if he is going to go but more a matter of when imo, I would love to see him stay here for his entire career but the chance of that happening is minimal at best.

Not really sure what's wrong with him not commiting to the club, if you think he'd say I want to stay at Spurs for the rest of my career then you're very naive especially when people will use those quotes against him should he leave.

The kid is only being honest - he loves it here right now and that's great. He is going to attract the attention of the very top teams in Europe and if they come calling it's likely he will go - maybe not this year but in the next few years. Good luck to the lad I say, let's enjoy him while we have him.

The only way that Alli would stay here for the rest of his career would be if he has a Ledley-esque injury issue that scares the top clubs off him, or if he does a Wilshere/Barkley and completely goes off the boil. If he carries on the way he's going it's a matter of when rather than if he leaves us.

Have always hated the "eeef 'ee dasn't wanna be 'ere 'ee can fack off" attitude that football fans come out with when a star player gets linked with a move away. As long as the player is behaves in a respectful manner, doesn't slag off the club or demand to join a rival, and gives his all for the club whilst on our payroll then he can leave with my blessing if the club accepts a bid for him. Do you seriously think that if a serious offer came in from Real/Bayern/Barca that the club accepted, even Kane would turn it down? Newsflash, every player that has ever played for Tottenham would have left if given the chance to join a bigger club, even those legends who walked out on the pitch on Sunday, in fact many of them actually did.

It's nothing personal. It doesn't mean they don't love the club. It doesn't mean they're disloyal or dishonest people. We as a club will bin a player for a better one if the opportunity comes along so why expect players to act any differently? They have short careers and they want to make the most out of it both in a financial and professional sense. Even putting money aside, can you honestly say that we're the most likely club to win things next season? Even with the Poch factor, can you say that a player will be at his best training alongside our squad or training alongside Ronaldo, Bale, Modric, Kroos etc and bettering themselves that way?

Alli is a kid from Milton Keynes, not from Enfield. We are his adopted home. Let's not expect the unreasonable from him. I personally think we'll get another two years from him before he's ready to be a guaranteed starter at one of the elite and that's when they'll start bidding and that's when he'll go. And going on past performance, I am confident Levy will get a good price for him.

As long we we turn our progression into titles, and become part of the so called elite, Alli and the rest of our young stars will stay.

Although very difficult I admit, in this day and age, for young heads not to be turned towards the likes of your Madrid's and Barcelona's of the world, and all the international super-stardom that comes with it. Sometimes its more than titles and the money, its the fame and the validation that being a Galactico or whatever gives you.
