Exactly, so want to make sure any incomings are prepared to fight every game.
I'm not worried about that when it comes to a RWB because they'll be within choking distance of Conte for 45 minutes a game

I thought he was OK as mentioned but didn't realise he is on loan from boro.

If boro don't rate him so much so that they sent him out on loan and they don't want him back... Then he can't be that good? Or is their coaching and scouting network that shit?

Well, he had a blinder tonight against Premier League opposition and was immense against Arsenal in the previous round. That is all I know.

They already have a young rwb who is highly thought of and it's said, superior to Spence.

Ah OK... He did look decent against manure on Friday if that's the guy...

Shouldn't we buy the one who is superior though?

In the summer, we not only have to replace Doherty but also look at replacing likes of Rodon & Sessegnon. I dont think Sessegnon is improving much - so we may let him go. I feel Conte will want to sign a LWB who is an upgrade on Reguillon as well, given his finishing is not good enough.

Rodon might go too.

So, we will have to look at home grown players.

IMO, we should target Livramento for RWB and Jack Harrison for LWB

I would rather keep Sessegnon. Call it blind optimism, but I truly think he'll evolve into a quality LWB for Conte. Rodon will most certainly be moved on. Maybe a deal with Brighton where we offer Rodon + money for Bissouma. Would also like Livramento but we had some reports that Southampton aren't open to doing business with us after the deal for PEH.

I am all for giving good number of chances to Sess till end of this season. I want him to succeed. But if he isnt doing much in coming months, I would like us to cut the losses and replace him, especially given Reguillon isnt a natural wingback as well and he also struggling in final third. I would rather replace Sessegnon with likes of Mahle or Jack Harrison.

The superior one for them might not be the better one for us.
I haven't seen enough of Spence or any of the other guy to know who would be better.

Jones is technically very good, rarely gives the ball away and is very composed. Spence is more of a raw athlete. I’m not sure if Jones is “superior” as of right now but if you were going to put money on one being consistent at a high level I think you’d put it on Jones. Seems like the kind of player who would probably thrive around top quality players as he does ooze class when you watch him on the ball

Looked up his stats and he is also 6 foot, which is a massively plus for a pacy full back / wing back.

Don't care if he's 7ft tall. Its what he does with the ball and unfortunately it's nothing special

Just saw the EFL highlights, Isiah Jones looking good again and Festy Ebosele superb for Derby.

Just seen tweet suggesting FE will go to Udinese in the summer though!

Ebosele looks like he has potential but he’s miles off being ready for the EPL. We need promising youngsters who look like stepping up in the next 12 months, not those who will take 2-3 years plus.

Haven’t seen the highlights but as per above, he’s “miles off being ready” but was “superb” compared to the the Boro player, who many are touting we go for, & who was only “good”?
