Tottenham finalizes their 10th incoming of the window, Djed Spence. This is their first incoming in 8 weeks.

“I’ve still got it” Levy says while he nods in self-approval.

In all seriousness though I’m not panicking or anything, and before anyone says I know we’re very early days in the window, but this one has been going on for months now and we don’t seem imminently close to a breakthrough yet. Maybe it will happen, just one that’s gone on a while and I wonder if we have someone else lined up maybe

It is starting to feel a bit like that. Seems they want mega money for a player who 12 months ago they would have let go for a few million.

I still think we need more down the right than just him and Doherty/Emerson. If we don't get someone who can guarantee better productivity in the final third, then I can see the weekly complaints on here.

I tend to recoil when old Lyall starts blabbing. His track record is awful when it isn't Fulham and even then, he doesn't seem as connected anymore. I always remember his 'exclusive' on that Japanese rightback at Marseille, which ended up being complete tosh!
