It could well be that this is not the one we're moving on from. It could be that this one is happening and it therefore allows us the funds and a non homegrown option elsewhere. Could we move on from say Maddison or Gordon if we feel there is a better non homegrown alternative for example.

"A weekend deadline", not "the weekend" - just joking. Fingers crossed but repeatedly moving back deadlines gives a bad vibe. Draw a line in the sand and mean it, especially when dealing with someone like Gibson.

I imagine if we bring players in who miss the flight we'll fly them out anyway. That way they'll only miss a few days, I can't see us making them wait until we get back before integrating them into the squad.
