For the quoted €30m, we should be looking at Max Aarons instead imo. Homegrown and offers something different to Tanganga at RB.

Maybe Fabio can work some magic and convince them to take Doherty the other way as well (loan or permanent). Would be a masterstroke.

Aarons has not shown anything to suggest he should be a transfer target for us. Other than being home grown he hasnt pulled up any trees and this is coming from someone who wanted us to get him a couple of years ago. Emerson's skillset and attributes are far more suited to the prem and he has been very good in La Liga.

What makes you think we can get Aarons for £25m?

So many options for that progressive RB role.

We've had the Brazilian lad, the Japanese lad and now the Norwich lad

Or, if you will...

Emerson, Take and Farmer

Sounds like a progressive trio to me.

I think I have a 1974 album from them?

Emerson and Reggie could offer the attacking options and width, we seem to need it with our narrow look v Watford.

Very clever and creative.

Plus excellent music knowledge.

Take a bow.

If we want Aarons, we might as well kept KWP last year. Unless we get rid of a RB, I can’t see us signing one.
