A little confused why we’re going ahead with this when we can’t shift Aurier or Doherty and have a third right back in Tanganga.
The review from the “South American football expert” on Sky Sports just then wasn’t very encouraging lol basically saying he was named after royal jelly and that he had a “shaky” start to his career and “Tottenham are spending a lot of money for promise”. Oh joy!
hopefully the guy is talking out of his rear.
Ah great - more joy lolTim Vickery - superb knowledge of the South American game
He does. His judgement of players coming to, and adapting to the Prem is more than suspect though.Tim Vickery - superb knowledge of the South American game

Vickery said Paulinho could be our Frank LampardYeah, I saw that. Phil Vickery's opinion was a little worrying...
For Koeman to pick him ahead of his boy Dest says a lot. We've really taken advantage of the situation at Barca here. They simply couldn't refuse the chance to make a quick sale on this one. Maybe waiting until the end of the window was the best approach since Barca would have hoped to shift lesser squad players earlier in the window. Now they've lost a first team player and we have capitalised.
Only Spurs fans will find a way to complain about signing one of the highest rated young right backs in world football. It’s one of the weakest positions in our squad with Aurier being checked out, Tanganga being insanely injury prone and new to playing right back and Doherty being an undercover pub footballer
Tim Vickery loves the sound of his own voice and loves the fact people think he knows a lot about South American football.
He can say what he wants and most people don’t care enough to even check if it’s right.
I don't think we will go to 3 at the back, but I do think one reason we bought Emerson is to provide width on the right-hand side - and that will give room for Bryan to push in from the wing, and tuck in behind Kane/Son
