The big question now is, will Lamela be picked for the CL squad and if so, who's out then?

I doubt it as gotta have three keepers in there.
There's a clause in the rules saying that if both of your registered goalies are unavailable, you can play an unregistered one. So the only consequence of leaving him out is that we'd have to have a youth goalie on the bench instead of him if one out of Vorm and Lloris was unavailable. The odds on one of them being unavailable are already fairly low, and after that the odds of a goalie actually needing to be substituted are only around 2%, so the risk of it actually changing who we have on the pitch is very low. I think the extra outfield depth is very much worth that risk.

If not though, it surely has to be Foyth - he's the only one who Poch is yet to play in an "important" match (Premier League or Champions League before we'd already qualified).

Still get this horrible feeling he will be off in summer. Hope I'm wrong, but if we still want Malcom I can see it being Coco making way.

I thought he looked a bit more confident when he came on last night. There was a bit of swagger to him certainly.

Maybe that was just the confidence in the team having an influence, and we obviously need much more from him than just a bit of confidence, but it was good to see nonetheless.

I would absolutely love to play our first team against Newport and smash them for 10, given their scout's "leaked" report.

I assume a few of the players who took the brunt of the negativity will be rested but Lamela is surely a shoe-in to start and prove a point on the field.

He played so non-chalantly but was so confident. I was hoping he could have come on earlier for Son. Those spaces from manure were made for him to exploit.
