Interesting from POTL as the BBC journo Ben Smith has reported that Baldini has just returned to Hotspur Way from Madrid and that his trip was nothing to do with Bale.

So reports of him meeting Lamela's people in Madrid yesterday now don't seem so wide of the mark.

Didn't know about those reports of a meeting. Thought Baldini going to Madrid would have to be about Bale, as I'm fairly certain Roma is still in Italy.
