Probably the fact that he was absolutely shocking?

Anyone can see that Lamela will never make it in England.
Funny thing is I've not seen you post such shit about Walker, who has been consistently shit for months now... Probably because he's English and didn't cost much.

Stop judging players by their fee which they didn't request.

End of day my point remains, you'd have to be a pretty pathetic, miserable person if your first thought after a 3-1 victory is to have a dig at one of the players that actually contributed to the win.

It's a difficult choice...
With Lamela -> good off-the-ball movement, creates spaces and smoother attack, but produces many errors (which are sometimes awful)
Without Lamela -> boring horizontal and backward passes, difficult to bring the ball into the box, can only rely on individual shows of Kane or Eriksen

Where is all this agenda shite come from?

I've backed Lamela from the start but it's painfully obvious that the lad is not suited to English football.

Chill with the insults also. I'm giving my opinion on a player. If you don't like it, tough shit.

Thread Title :
Erik Lamela - Completed

Should read :
Erik Lamela - Complete waste of money

Won't make it in the Premier league. Has done nothing in 2 years to suggest otherwise. Not his fault, just not up to it. He'll either be sold back to Italy this summer or waste another season with us then get sold.
Pathetic way of thinking.

Just think it's pretty pathetic barely 10 minutes after full time you're in here slating a player who actually turned in a good performance given he hasn't had a start in the league for nearly 2 months, he was bound to be rusty.

Seems agenda driven.

A good performance?!?!

And I'm the one with the agenda?

Guess it was the little things he did today that got me. Like protesting about a foul when he really just need to get up and help Dier. He didn't have a good game today.

Well I'd be more concerned if he started off well and gradually got worse as the game wore on.

It was actually the contrary.

Despite his endeavour off the ball, nothing came off for him first half.

Second half, he almost scored, contributed to almost all our intelligent progressive play... Worked his bollocks off tracking back and making some vital challenges and finally gets an assist to ensure the 3 points.

If that's a 'shit' performance off the back of a 2 months absence from the premier league starting eleven then you're a hard man to please.

Newcastle were pushing heavily and rather recklessly for an equalizer, there was a lot of space to exploit and we were playing on the counter attack, with space to play in most players can look pretty good - and he was quite decent in the second half, most of our attacking players were (because of the space!) but he was useless in the first half when space was limited and he doesn't make enough happen, he hasn't got the Chadli or Eriksen moments in his game.

He's a terrible terrible player. If he played for another team would anyone here watch him and say oh that's a good player, I'd like him in our tottenham team? No chance

don't start with this bollocks, one could say you have a mason agenda or a young/english player agenda given some of your recent posts(even one on this page). maybe @We'llWinThePrem just simply doesn't rate lamela, it's not a crime.

No one is saying that it is a crime, just that it is curious that after Lamela sets up Harry's 30th goal of the season some people's first thought is: "better hop on to the Lamela thread and tell everyone that I think he's shit for the 36th time today."

Yep. I've fully supported Lamela and have no agenda against the lad at all.

I'd love it if he came good but like I said I just don't think he's suited to English football.

The first half was one of the worst performances I've ever seen in a Spurs shirt. I would have taken him off after 20 mins. Fair play to him as in the second half he did ok. Still has to go at the end of the season for his sake and ours

So one simple pass makes his performance acceptable.

He was poor today. I can give my opinion on a player whenever I want.
