We saw from the documentary that SSN is a staple at the training ground whenever the players are eating etc and that they aware of media coverage ( Winks on Mourinho).

I can only assume they will be sat there a bit like us at the moment - getting pretty hyped.

Signing Bale and having him talk to the other players could be the best way to put players like Kane off a move to Real or Barca. Kane is a star as was Bale before he left. But with these types of player it turns sour relatively quickly.
There's a reason there's only one Cristiano and one Messi at these clubs
Yeah I'm sure those 4 CL medals are a turn off....

Calderon suggesting that it would be a perm, but caveating that he doesn't actually know much. Interesting 'experienced' opinion though.

Calderon loves a chat. I'm not sure how an EX president of Madrid would know exactly what is going on at the club now. He seems to love the limelight.

bit worried that this being so public now that if it doesn't happen soon then other teams will make a bid, unless Bale has advised Barnett that it's only us he wants to join

not getting ahead of myself but if completed - do we still have 14 days to wait for him to complete self-isolation or is there ways around this with a negative test?

2 year loan is the perfect deal imo.
If we pay him £300k/week, say £100k/week is our cap/limit that basically equates to a £20million transfer fee (200k over is 800k a month and 9.6m in a year). I don't see how that is so bad financially?
