The thing is even if he isn't fit enough to start every game, just having him come off the bench is literally a game changer. Imagine if we had him come on v Everton? By improving the first XI, you improve the squad.
Did a job as an impact sub in the CL final :)

Probably the maddest day I’ve experienced on here I reckon and the best thing is we’ve not even started flight tracking yet

Exactly how I think we should use him. Start him in all the most important matches -- against top six rivals, in late-round cup matches, etc. -- and then otherwise use him as a supersub. It'd be a deadly weapon and it would preserve his fitness.

Getting rid of Bale for Dele could backfire spectacularly. Bale has real issues with fitness, has not had a preseason, and is 31 and quite possibly past his best. Dele is still only 24 and even though is inconsistent (So is Bale for Madrid mind you) is capable of becoming a very good player indeed and even when off form his numbers are still very solid.

I just have a feeling of dread, even if we get Bale this could go spectacularly wrong. I'd rather take a calculated risk with money and a short term contract, ideally with option to be permanent or a two year loan, rather than risk creating even less balance and unevenness to the team. A swap loan, imagining Dele is able to thrive for Real Madrid, which is more possible that some people seem to think, I mean we wont get that player back. I just feel it sounds like short term emotional thinking here, and this could go so so wrong.

To Dare is to Do. Right now, we look thoroughly mediocre. Time to roll the dice

The rumours of swapping alli for bale better be false.... i am okay with bringing bale in.. but you dont send a player 7 years younger in the other direction.. especially with bale being injury prone.. dumb move if that happens. really dumb.

I'm in full blown excite mood about this transfer and Reguillon too adds a nice layer of icing on this cake.

Milik and we're done. Fantastic window.

Will be a shame to see Dele go but he's stagnated and needs a move. Lamela can do Dele's job better than Dele, when fit.

Just praying this doesn't end up like Dybala last summer. Come on Levy!
