SpursOfficial have tweeted so much about the Sky Walk. But it would be good if they could tweet with a caption saying '......just one more post about the sky walk....'

And it's a silhouette of the Cockerel with the city of London in the background and silhouette of a guy walking on the sky walk and you can see his top knot....

In all honesty, I still cant believe this could quite happen. I'm scared of the potential heartbreak of it falling through
It would certainly be a big heartbreak if he fell through the sky walk during the unveiling.

He will score a freekick early doors and the rust will disappear sport is so much about mentality and confidence. Its a shame the fans aren't there because the reception he would get would likely have a similar effect. I remember being at the opening game against Palace at the new stadium and the Dele chant was the first chant that got going all at the same time and the feeling in that place for that was unreal and I was thinking what that must do for a players self esteem. Bale returning would be on a whole different level to that.

That Dele chant vs Palace first game of the new stadium ,as I walked down the south stand to take my seat, with the players just metres away was fucking magical.

His agent used to laugh when people asked about Bale to Spurs,
now he says we're the place Bale want to be.
That should say everything about how this is actually happening.
Two clubs, player and agent all want it to be done.

I don't see Levy wanting a one year loan at all, doubt that would be preferable to any party. Nice fall back option maybe. Madrid want shot of him, we don't want to expose ourselves to long term risk. If Madrid bought out his contract he could join us permanently but then you may be looking at a 3-4 year deal for a 31yo.

2 year loan feels like the obvious compromise, but there'll also be performance related bonuses that both Madrid and Gareth would be interested in.

One year would make a little sense as it will mean that if things go tits up we arent committed to the 200k a week salary. There are pros and cons I would say. Head over heart it would make sense but heart over head id rather three years

That hurt my head reading that.
Basically, the important information is that it looks like we are looking at a permanent transfer with no initial cost. But we are likely to pay 7 million-ish for him. What I'm confused about is the wages and the delayed payment for the transfer. I don't know if it is achievement based bonuses, or something even looser, more like an agreement to negotiate price at a later date.

His agent is notoriously blunt and never gives anything away. I’ve heard loads of interviews with him. The quote is really telling. It’s happening.

Madrid’s JJ saying it’s pretty much done, apparently we will pay 100% of wages so likely that he’s taken a pay cut

I swear one person on here said he was ‘Madrid’s JJ’ - I haven’t seen anything to suggest he’s reliable.

Of course they wont admit to paying his wages, but they will be in one way or another.

Fair play to Bale then, and also for flat out refusing Utd.

He actually really wants to be back, he can keep the man bun now I guess.
