Now, seventeen. Well, that's a completely different kettle of fish. Seventeen is massively bad luck because
a) The Roman numeral for seventeen (XVII) is an anagram of VIXI (Latin for 'I have lived') and is therefore associated with death; and
b) Italians are, I say again, contrary fuckers
So we may demur when a keeper opts for thirteen, but, if he's Italian, he'll be well made up.
