He has been disappointing and far from the player that Inter had. However, Conte only recently said that we will see the real Perisic soon and that he hasnt been 100% yet. So I am holding out hope that he turns it around soon.

He's been disappointing, but at least his crosses occasionally lead to something happening, which is far than can be said of Sess and Royal.

He is not suited to this league. Maybe better in the U.S or China

The trouble is he doesn't have the pace and athletism to get up and down for wing back. He doesn't have a Kulusevski type in front to play up to and hold the ball up either. It's just not a good combination between Perisic and Son. At least Sess has that pace to overlap but then he doesn't have end product. Give the lungs and legs of Sess to Perisic and we're sorted.

He’d be even worse in the front 3. Have you seen how stiff he is ffs. Perisic is never a bad option to have in the squad but let’s be honest he’s disappointed all of us.

This is it in a nutshell I think, good player but coming to late in his career to one of the fastest most high tempo leagues in the world.

He’s been our best player in some games. Was awful tonight. I’m still not convinced he can play in the same team as Son and it might even be Son can’t play in the attacking wingback system as it just eats his space.
