I know they do. That still doesn’t mean we can’t rotate. 2 or 3 changes to the starting line up every game and full use made of the 5 substitutions allowed starting at the hour mark and everyone should get plenty of game time. It’s idiotic to have a 25 man squad(22 outfielders) with 5 substitutes allowed every game and not make full use of all the squad.
If we're playing 1 game a week there's no need to rotate 2-3 players every game. We should play strongest 11 almost every game when available.

Besides the fact that the strongest 11 , in the eyes of the manager, may change from week to week we still need to give nearly everyone in the squad game time m. If we don’t then when we DO need them they won’t be up to scratch because they will lack match fitness/sharpness.

Bissouma is a fucking quality player. Just need a manager who isn’t a **** like Conte.

I’m sure Bissouma’s season altering injury had nothing to do with it :ROFLMAO:

God some of you really need to learn to let things go

Over the moon that we've signed him, just wondering where he'd play in Ange's system. Can he successfully play as an 8, thought he mainly played as a 10 for Leicester

Fantastic signing

I'm sure last season we sometimes waited days for announcements after hearing it was complete. Really like these quick announcements.

I thought we'd struggle to get him for less than £45m. I guess Newcastle's lack of interest and Leicester wanting to do a deal quickly helped things along.

Really looking forward to watching him play for us.

Him and Kulu could roam around. Alternatively we could do a 4-2-2-2 with Son next to Kane. Or a 4-3-3 with Mads advanced in the middle. So exciting.

It looks good. Hopefully we now have a manager who is willing to be more attacking against "lesser" opposition and so we can get a lot of these players on the pitch at the same time.

Gonna be a real interesting match against arsey in the middle. Bissouma, Bentancour and Maddison vs Odegaard, Havvertz and Rice.

Really happy with the signing. Let’s just hope he doesn’t get hit with the “spurs spending big money” curse like the others!

I thought this may be a goer when I found out that maddison was building a house in wood green, just to be near the darts.

I reckon he can play 8 if we're not under the cosh.

Maddison as a 10 with Bissouma and Bentancur protecting the back 4 and transitioning play from defence to attack probably won’t be good enough against the very best teams in the league but it will be a big upgrade on the last 3/4 years. Obviously Sarr/Skipp/PEH will have a chance to impress until Bentancur recovers but I’ll be very surprised if Bissouma, Bentancur and Maddison in front isn’t our strongest trio.

Play a team that goes balls-out for 60-65 mins and make subs accordingly. Within that there has to be some rotation, change, the possibility for good work on the training pitch to translate to a starting position. Also Asia Cup and African Nations. You can't just drop people in with not a lot of match practice to cover.
