Di marzio says he’s a replacement for Alessandro Buongiorno who is apparently off to Atalanta.

Not sure I've seen Di Marzio get one thing right this summer but I hope he's right here. Japh needs games

this guy must have the worst agent in the world. every window for about 7 years summer and winter he is linked to italy and he's still not played a full season, anywhere.

Was thinking the exact same, he should've found a move so many windows in a row.

Either his agent is crap or other clubs think Tanganga is crap but surely he could get a move to a Championship side if nothing else.

Mad.

I don’t know why any player would join our academy, tbh. We hoard them for the bench while simultaneously not giving them any chances in the first team, and also we rarely ever are able to secure decent loans for them (I have my guesses as to why, but this isn’t for speculation). Our academy players are treated like they’re there to just make up the numbers without any care of their development, just look at Harvey White and Brandon Austin! Both have had a singular 6 month loan spell and have been used as reserve squad players to “make up the numbers” since. It’s pretty disgraceful

Tanganga has had opportunities, he's no where near good enough.

I’m talking in general, not about Tanganga. The theme is common among our academy players. I agree Tanganga is not good enough but that doesn’t excuse us not finding proper loans for all of our academy talent!

I think he might have been if he’d not been injured so much. There was definitely potential there, but to get to his age and have only played as many senior games as him shows he’s never going to make it here.

When he 'burst on the scene' Micha Richards style under Jose at LB keeping Salah and Mane in his pocket I thought wow we have the 2nd coming of Ledley King here but as time as gone on he's been shown up at CB big time, doesn't read the game well, poor with ball at his feet and slow to release it, not dominant in the air etc etc.

Shame as always nice to see one of our own come through but he's had enough chances.

True we don't manage their loans well, it started under Poch when he wanted to keep them all around but its continued, good loans are key for them.
