We don’t shift players on very well do we. Be nice to actually get some for the odd one every now and again. We couldn't sell cocaine to Charlie Sheen

There was a suggestion at the beginning of the window that we were going to be ruthless this time and if necessary rip up contracts etc.How is it Levy’s fault that he is still here?
The only way I can see it, is if his wages are too high for him to go elsewhere?
If so, should we subsidise him to leave, ie make up the shortfall between what a club will pay and what he’s currently on?
And Dier
And Sanchez
And Ndombele
And Sessegonon
And Regi
And no doubt others?
So pay off their whole contract worth AND spend money on new players? There was a suggestion at the beginning of the window that we were going to be ruthless this time and if necessary rip up contracts etc.
That’s what was being said.So pay off their whole contract worth AND spend money on new players?
But that makes no sense, I can understand paying off contracts so we are in a different place for the next window but Levy to pay out twice in the same window? That’s what was being said.
We were going to streamline the squad my hook or by crook, whatever it took.
I agree it’s expensive but the suggestion was that our inability to move players on was holding us back and we needed a different approach. But that makes no sense, I can understand paying off contracts so we are in a different place for the next window but Levy to pay out twice in the same window?
I just can’t see that.
Thanks for the explanation though.
I agree our inability to move players on is hindering us, but this sounds like wishful thinking to me.I agree it’s expensive but the suggestion was that our inability to move players on was holding us back and we needed a different approach.
There are videos available on YouTube where the the likes of Chris Cowlin and WeAreTottenhamTV etc talk about this and consider who to get rid of etc so it must have been a firm suggestion at the time.
Obviously it might have never been true or things have changed ?
Obviously not !!!I agree our inability to move players on is hindering us, but this sounds like wishful thinking to me.
Did they not do any research on our chairman????
They're not going to rip any up until the end of the window but I think it was wishful thinking anywayObviously not !!!
Is that really warranted? He's an academy player who never offered anything less than his best ability in a field where 0.1% make it to his level. He's not even on high wages. It says more about Spurs as a club and how it treats it's academy that he is still here rather than about the player. He’s like a stale fart. Lingers around forever.
His best ability is obviously not good enough, hence why no one is seriously interested in taking him. We all know when the transfer window opens, as we cast our net farand wide trying to drum up interest in Tanganga to predictably end with him firmly entrenched at the club waiting for another window to open and then rinse and repeatIs that really warranted?
