Not good enough at RB, he never gets any links with other players.

Just once again like to thank the club for keeping us informed as to how he is.:(
I'm sure Ryan will make mention of it once he has fielded 64 questions about Kane in this afternoon's press conference.

He isn't a RB, nowhere near good enough going forward.

He's built like a CB, modern full backs are more wirey and nimble.

He will have a good solid career wherever that is. Do I see him at Spurs in long term? I don't know but I'm sure wherever he will end up, he will win more trophies then staying here!

I'd like to see him get a loan next season. It's difficult for any player to suddenly come in for the odd game and really play at their best, even moreso when you're a youngster who's being used as a utility player instead of being given time and opportunity to develop in your preferred position.

Send him off to somewhere like Brighton or Norwich and I bet he'd absolutely flourish with regular game time.

Who would we use to cover the hole left in the squad? It would probably do him good to get regular playing time but we need some depth in the squad too. Maybe get Foyth back, but if Aurier goes we could be left with Doherty and I'm not good with that.

I don't think he's had enough games for us to be sure. He keeps getting injured which isn't a good sign.

He may be a decent CB but he's not really been given the chance. It's tough to give young CB's a chance unless in an injury crisis.

Agreed. I think it would benefit him if he got a loan whether in the Prem or Bundesliga for a season and get a good year under his belt playing centre back.

He's only featured 11 times as a RB for us in a pretty disjointed team. We can say he's a bad RB but that fails to consider the real circumstances of why he hasn't looked like a natural RB yet. Either let him go out on loan for a season or allow him to the back-up RB next season with a view to playing more games.

We need 2 specialists RB if we are being serious about getting back into Europe next season. We can't afford to carry a player learning a new position, and I still don't think he's a RB nonetheless. Southampton have a decent RB by all accounts.

I'd always thought he was a centre back filling in at right back?

Where did he play in the youth teams?

If it was right back I may be less optimistic about his future.

He is - and I don't think he's doing a bad job, to be honest, especially when you compare his performances to Doherty this season...

I think he'd be great on the right hand in a back 3.
