To be fair, as it turned out, it made no difference.
Trippier is this week's Mike Dean.
Haha actually an improvement for him... the goal he caused didn't actually cost us the game. Unlike vs. City, Liverpool & United.

Seems to be a trend there Poch, hmmm.

Time to go, Kieran.

Play KWP as I more content to see a young player make errors and learn from them as oppossed to seeing an experienced player in decline. Been utter trash this season.
Been saying this for ages now. KWP has the potential to better than Trippier will ever be. Use him!

Off the top of my head Chelsea, United, Wolves and City this season. That is WAYYY too much for a team supposedly fighting for awards. You dont carry these players, you bin them off.

But, but, but he can cross a ball ?

Yep your right - got to go

And other than that mistake he played well. They created nothing down his side, and although he wasn't at his best on the ball, he was one of the few that actually made line breaking passes.
They created nothing down anyone’s side. However, time and time again it is him who makes these errors in big games.

Anyone blaming Lloris for that own goal clearly has an agenda against him. Hugo was rushing outbrfite Trippier even bad possession, just as he has done for every ball into that part of the pitch since he signed. Every player at the club knows he does this, our manager instructs him to do this, so to play the ball back to him, without even looking, is incompetence. Lloris screwed up on the first goal but the own goal was 100% not his fault. Even if Hugo wasn’t rushing out, every defender knows that if you pass back to the goalie, you don’t aim for between the sticks.

This is like when everyone blames Paul Robinson for Gary Neville’s own goal. Fucking bad. It’s like some kind of union for right backs from Bury who look like vermin.

I'd rather see an oragne traffic cone playing RWB against Arsenal than seeing Trippier or Aurier doing it. I'm so tired of them.

I never want to see him play for us again - so many games he has lost for us now. Give Aurier or KWP a proper run in the team instead of this joker.

We overplay, there is too much emphasis on keeping the ball and we do it too much in risky areas.

On the OG, that ball was bouncing in the awkward area right on the edge of the penalty area. 9 times out of 10, Hugo flies out and clears that (where was the sweeper keeper?)...both players are at fault, but of course Trippier will get the majority of the blame, even though we were already losing and not looking likely at all to get back into the game. Hard to tell if there was a call or not either.

He'd had a decent game apart from that too tbh, in a match in which there were few especially good performances.

We were poor and well beaten, but a lot of you just have to have someone to take it out on.

Just ignore how shockingly poor Eriksen and Son were and concentrate on an unfortunate own goal when we were pretty much already beaten.

Even if Lloris didn't shout or came out late, the defender should never pass the ball in the direction of the goal.

That's bs. If he passed it wide of the goal Willian would have got it and scored himself

Lloris just had to stay on his line
