Bar a couple of sloppy moments I thought he had a vastly improved game.

Hopefully he's turned a corner.

His crossing ability has deteriorated badly this season and that was his one redeeming quality for me. Would be surprised if he is here next season. Then again I should never be surprised when it comes to transfers.

2 moments actually. Early on he stood watching while his man took the ball in for a shot and Alderweirld bailed him out. Had a word with him too.

Yeah there was another moment but it wasnt as potentially disasterous as the latter one posted.
Thought he handled zaha well overall

I think he can still cross, defenders have just learned to show him inside whenever possible. when thats done he will drop it back to a midfielder 90% of the time. he's a bit of a one trick pony though the one trick is quite good.

I thought he played alright tonight
He was okay. But let's face it... if either of those defensive lapses from him led to goals this evening, I think the proverbial pitch forks would be out for him from just about everyone. He is capable of doing better. But seems like a bit of his confidence has slipped away. Maybe it'll come back. Maybe it won't. Either way, we need some very good RB competition for him next season. As it seems likely Aurier will probably be off in the summer.

As per usual, a few lapses at the back. Going forward, he offered an outlet. Unfortunately, also as usual, it doesnt lead to anything. He’s really been quite poor going forward this season. Add that to the defensive frailties and he’s just not good enough whatsoever. Hope Aurier’s back for City. Trippier’s going to get embarrased by them again. It isnt even a question.

Better tonight. Wasteful in attack but relatively solid in defense, especially considering who he was up against.

I am amazed he doesn't spend at least 30 mins a day practising in-swinging crosses with his left foot. It would double his options and make him harder to defend against, especially as he is not the quickest. As he never even attempts a left footed cross I have to assume he doesn't practise that at all.

He wasnt dreadful but SO predictable and actually he makes us predictable.

1) If his first touch aint a cross then he cuts inside into no mans land
2) Down the line
3) Points finger

Also when he cuts inside one of ours, invariably Eriksen, runs towards him to receive the pass but by then the opportunity has gone because well... its predictable.

Hid delivery has gone down a notch but i think thats more to do with a) opposition know how to deal with him and b) we arent getting enough players in the box and when we do theyre all man marked because we are pedestrian at times in our play
