People criticising Trippier tonight is exactly why that Paolo guy exists, it’s completely undeserved

I'd say "existed" is the term to use now mate. Haven't seen anything from him for a while (he was a very regular poster) so it looks like he's been driven out.

Would be a shame because, whether people agreed with him or not, he was just defending a player he personally rates. The pack mentality that can come to the fore on here, constantly @-ing him every time Trippier didn't do something they wanted, was pretty unnecessary, in my opinion.

At the end of the day, it's none of my business, fuck all to do with me. I am just a sap & think it'd be a real shame if the site has lost a pretty decent member just because they found it funny to call him out every time Trippier did something that backs up their of opinion of him as a player.

I'll be amazed if other clubs are interested in him given his absolutely shocking performances this season. If by a miracle somebody comes in for him he needs to go.

I thought he was fine last night. He certainly didn't embarrass himself.

We can definitely upgrade on him, but he's had a pretty good Tottenham career.

Upgrade in terms of suitability for the role in our team which doesn't make him a bad player.

He said the other day that he has had a chance since the Everton game to rehab the groin injury he's been carrying. I think that showed last night.

Can’t wait to get rid of this abysmal player. Should’ve never been number 1 RB. Don’t care that he takes responsibility for being shit, at least he’s not delusional. Would sell at £20m but I’m not in charge

One of trippiers biggest critics but thought he was decent last night. Also lot of respect for him coming over to the fans (who have slaughtered him this season) crying hugging them and then publicly saying he’s not been good enough for the club this season. FP

If he can rehab his groin injury properly and get back to level he was before then he’d most probably be better option than Aurier to keep and fight it out with a new right back.

Although KWP might be another good option to keep as the back up, although given the poor way Poch has blooded him its hard to know really at the moment, but would be a shame as one of our own.

Maybe it comes down to who we get more dosh for though if we’re looking at a new first choice right back.

Aurier has had an even poorer season though.

Agree, he’s played his part from when he joined us to where we are now and i wish him the best if he goes

Apparently before the final he had created more goal scoring chances in the CL than any other defender this season.

It's a bit weird because he says he's had a good few seasons here, but it's one of them (suggesting he's likely to be leaving) but then he says he'll go for a rest & return for pre-season and a chat with Poch. It's like he says he's off, but then says he's not.

That said, his gesture right at the very end sort of made it seem like he actually wanted to answer the guys question about whether he feels he has a decision to make.

Gotta feel he's most likely looking for new pastures.

I think the writing is on the wall . Walk before your pushed . After a decent 2017-18 and a good World Cup I think we all thought he was better than he was .

That interview tells me he is going and if we can get 25m for him it represents a huge profit. The move is right for both parties
