Those goalposts are moving again, when we are so close why do we operate like small timers and risk somebody else coming in ! I was under the impression that To Dare Is To Do !
Don't get sucked into all the media bollocks.

When I look at this I reckon we wouldn’t have let GKN go unless this was just about decided quite a while ago. It wouldn’t actually surprise me as if the clubs had agreed in principal the deal.

Press a couple of days behind? Us here, at least 1-2 weeks! :D

Really excited about this signing. Always wanted a fast tricky winger, and in this instant it isn't a random unknown. It is a proven player with pedigree, with still a lot more development. Very similar to the VDV signing to me in terms of size. I'd personally be happy with buying him for more.

Compared to the other winger we've been linked with Zaha. The only advantage Zaha has is Prem proven but he is more expensive and I still think Moura is the better talent and has more to offer. The player I wanted most was Mahrez, but he is older, and not as quick as Moura and would cost significantly more money anyway. I like that Moura is coming to reignite his career and hope he fulfils his potential. We can't really lose here, signing actual quality rather than a cheap hit and hope player.

Not only will he improve our squad I think that he will be easily rotated into our first team by the time next season comes round. He may seem underwhelming initially as he has stagnated but realistically if he was at the peak of his powers and was where it was hoped he would be we wouldn't be in with a chance of getting him. There are no World Class players we can actually afford to buy, so we need to get those that have had a hard time and try to rebuild em. Bernardo Silva was wanted by everyone but is now warming the bench. If he became available you'd still want him wouldn't you. It's the same thing to me, you can't judge someone based of a lack of appearances at clubs stacked with cash

Two papers and ITK now saying we're struggling to agree a deal with PSG.

Tottenham remain in talks with PSG over £22m midfielder Lucas Moura

Tottenham Hotspur will continue talks with Paris St. Germain over a potential £22 million deal for Lucas Moura.

Spurs are determined to sign the Brazil international before Wednesday’s deadline and will step up negotiations in the next 48 hours.

Moura has already been shown around the Spurs training ground and is believed to be keen on moving to the Premier League to play under Mauricio Pochettino.

But sources have suggested that the deal is still far from being agreed, with doubts even surfacing on Saturday night over whether it will be completed.

Spurs will hold more talks with PSG on Sunday as they look to bring in their first signing of the January transfer window.

Moura was left out of the PSG squad for the game against Montpellier on Saturday.

They've barely been on this story and now they both have the inside track?

C'est la vie.

Was wondering when we’d get the first mention of 48 hours

My young son has a pendulum for divining the future. It's a really simple system: you ask a question and if the pendulum swings clockwise it's yes, and if it swings anti-clockwise the answer is no. In theory the pendulum should always swing when answering a question. This evening I asked him if we were going to sign anyone this window and he diligently asked the pendulum. He looked flummoxed and finally sighed, saying "The pendulum doesn't know."

In short, destiny had just been Levyied

What ITK says we are struggling to agree? Haven’t seen anything like that.

Surely this should be agreed regardless. I'm not one to shrug at a few million pounds and I 100% understand where Levy comes from but £22m is an absolute bargain, I'd be surprised if PSG would go that low even if they do have to get rid. Even if they ask for £25m I'm sure Levy wouldn't give up on the deal, over £3m. He'll go ask late as possible as it would be better to stick that 3m on wages, but if he has to it's still better value for money giving that extra 3m to close the deal if they don't budge. Assuming it is £5m they want. That's what reports said before I think
