He started as a number 10 at Sao Paulo it was PSG who moved him wide and when he was at Sao Paulo he was seen as the heir to Ronaldinho.

So maybe it is his best position but my god he still infuriates me, one minute he looks like Pele the next he can't control the ball? How can he be so inconsistent?!

There was times on Sunday where he beat like 5 men with ease then the next minute he would fall over his own feet.

He sums us up as a club all the tools to be world beaters but will always let you down.

Everyone's already pointed out his obvious qualities but for me what stands out is his tendency to perform when the going gets tough.
This is really important for a club with our aspirations.

Agreed, he is just so frustrating sometimes but then again if he had that consistency then he will probably be playing for Barcelona.

Just comes across as such a nice, humble down to earth guy which clearly stems from his religious beliefs. Love having him in the squad....wish a few more would follow his example and convert their attitude to his way

Totally agree (except when he encouraged people to vote for Bolsonaro).

Scored some huge goals for us before. Equaliser at the nou camp. Three against Ajax. Good lad

I've criticized him before for being erratic and inconsistent and I now have to give him all the credit for becoming a vital part of this team. His energy, defensive output and mazy runs are literally keeping our top 4 hopes alive. Long may it continue.

He has really stepped up recently. He was driving us forward. Such skill and speed with the ball

Lets be honest we all dreamed of a Bale kane son front 3 but lucas is now a must on this form

What a performance, I know he is quicker than all of our other players who were playing, but his energy and acceleration were phenomenal.
