We do regardless of his fitness. He isn't good enoughSo annoying he’s still injured. He’s barely even training apparently. We need a new forward badly

Would have disagreed with this until we signed Kulusevski. But once you sprinkle a little bit of class in to one of our weakest positions it's difficult to believe anything less will do.We do regardless of his fitness. He isn't good enough

He's on a free in January. Doubt anyone would offer much of anything of value. He'll be off to Brazil on a free in the Summer.Feels like another Lamela situation where its time to sell. He's been a good servant but we won't renew and need to look forward. Just need him fit enough to sell in January.
Waste of a squad space he is becoming.

I believe that's only if we take the option though, so will be interesting to see what happens there. From the clubs POV you want to get some sort of fee if possible. At the same time, you want to honor Lucas' wishes to return to Brazil and make that possible for him, so I'm torn on what to do tbh!Ah, that's correct.
I'm not sure extending a contract to get a fee is good business with players over a certain age. Brazilian clubs will probably be deterred from signing him and I can't imagine anyone else will pay much for him at this stage. We'll be left paying his wages and not getting much in return.I believe that's only if we take the option though, so will be interesting to see what happens there. From Football.London - "Lucas has confirmed in his homeland that his current deal actually has one more year to run and will expire in 2023, with Tottenham then having the option of extending for an extra 12 months."
This guy scored a second half hat-trick, including a 'deep into injury time' winner in a Champions League semi-final, to take us for the only time in our entire history into a Champions League / European Cup final. Whatever he does in future, he will always retain super-hero status for us. He is now coming to the end of his career and is troubled by a painful achilles injury. His contract ends at the end of this season and he will almost certainly either retire or move back to a club in Brazil. Ultimately we do need another forward, and one who can compete with Kulusevski on the right flank, i.e. Lucas' position. And we ideally need someone this winter. But let's allow Lucas to see out his contract with some respect.Waste of a squad space he is becoming.

Suddenly James Corden enters the thread...
About Lucas Moura, we didn’t have him from the start of the season. And we are continuing to not have him. He has this problem, he is struggling a lot to find a solution. For sure it’s a difficult situation. Because I have a good player in my squad, but he’s never available. It’s like you don’t have him. It’s a pity because I repeat: we are talking about a good player, a good guy, but he is struggling a lot to solve this problem. I don’t know, I don’t know what in the future happens about him.
Whats your problem?Suddenly James Corden enters the thread...
Yes it was spoilered but some people don't want to clog up threads with massive images
