He's also older, has a contract until 2027, and would probably cost upwards of 30m.

Not sure what it has to do with Manor Solomon

Lauriente is a solid player and currently the flavor of the month after an impressive debut season in Serie A. Don't get me wrong, I'd take him - but I think we just have to look at Solomon in the grand scheme of things and in the window as a whole.

We've managed to (likely) get a player that would have usually cost anywhere from 15-25m from Shakhtar in unusual circumstances for (again likely) next to nothing. He already has 1 year experience in London as well, which is only a benefit.

I'll wait to the end of the window to judge, but those funds are likely to be allocated towards our needs at CB. Coming into the window, I had really low expectations. Yes, we can argue all day how the club is run, but usually funds are reinvested form earnings, and after finishing 8th, I figured our only goal was to trim the fat of the squad and build from scratch again.

But so far - Vicario, Maddison, Solomon, One of Tapsoba or vdV would be a thumbs up from me before we even leave for tour (y)

I was replying to the post above mine, saying he could do both (best a man and make the killer pass.

It wasn’t rocket science to figure that out surely?

Also, we could do with someone to play rw which lauriente could and he wouldn’t cost £30m.

For £30m we could get chiesa.

We could probably all throw random names out there but it's a bit of a pointless exercise, no?

It just clogs up threads with posts like this one I'm writing now...

Could be a dark horse signing . With the systems Ange will play he could be a good impact player probably from the bench . He has something about him

I am very confident after watching 438975849754 of his comps.

I think if he gets around 1500 - 2000 minutes, he'll get 10-15 goals. I'd wager it

Not only are you going to still have Twitter causing a fuss on this forum, you've also got the new Threads app released by Insta now too. All the best A&C 😬
