Aren't we allowed to sign a precontract 6 months before expiry? In the interim 6 months we have him on a loan.

I know absolutely nothing about him but the vast scouting I have undertaken on him since......it shows him beating his man fairly convincingly but it doesn't seem to show that killer pass or pinpoint cross....
